Bee pollen & Spirulina Gutload

You put whatever you’re dusting with in a cup, jar, bag, container, etc. and put the feeders in, shake up the container (don’t let the feeders escape) until the feeders are lightly dusted, then feed them off

I have spirulina and bee pollen but I’m not entirely sure how often to feed my Jackson’s chameleon dusted crickets

I know how to. I’m just curious as to how often to dust them with bee pollen and spirulina. I’m a new member and doesn’t let me start my own thread lol

I know, I read your post wrong. Go to forums, select which one you want, click on it, and click start new thread

I simply sprinkle bee pollen on the fresh greens that I feed to the roaches. Also occasionally do the same with spirulina powder. I use more bee pollen than spirulina but neither is used every time.

I have a container mixed 2:1 bee pollen/spirulina and I use it to dust feeders every other day unless giving multivitamin & I also sprinkle into whatever I'm using to gutload my feeders. I don't use it on my silkworms to gutload since they only eat mulberry leaves/chow.

Yes, but I don't alter my spirulina & bee pollen schedule based on those supplements. Because of the vitamins in bee pollen & spirulina, I'm not comfortable giving it on the same day with a multivitamin.

On some of the Jackson FB groups they have discussed dusting with bee pollen several times a week. The thinking is that Jackson's eat pollinating insects as a substantial portion of their diet in the wild. They would naturally have quite a bit of pollen in their diet.
