Beaux my new panther chameleon

I took some shots of my new panther chameleon this morning as he was finishing off his breakfast. He is just about 5 months now, and I have had him a little less then two weeks. He is eating very well… pretty much will eat anything I put in front of him. My husband is out in the garage, as I type this, making him a custom enclosure. Right now he is in a temp that is just 18x18x18 screen and it is way to small. Do you think he is big enough to go into his forever home? It will be 48hx36wx24d. We were planning on putting in a temp floor that will make it 36x36x24 until he is about 9 months, but I am afraid this might still be too big.

You can never get too big when it comes to a reptile enclosure. Spoil your pet to a fair extent as long as you are not able to step into his enclosure and get lost for like an half hour. lol

Sincerely,
Miss Hiss

He is a good looking Cham.
You can always try him in full size version and if he seems ok then good. If he struggles, you can always put temp floor in for a while.

He has such amazing color, who is his sire and where did you get him. I might need to get me some of that green & blue.

I believe he would do fine in the new enclosure. My guy used to free range the living room in my apartment lol I would leave a small tote with feeders in it near the hanging plants and he often drank from my ex's waterfall thing she had setup! Even watched him swim in it at least 10 different times.

Torch from forum member Chuck G is the sire. He is just as sweet as he is beautiful! He didn't even know I was in the room when I took the above photos; I used my 300mm lens. So he wasn't as colorful as he usually is.. here is a pic of him getting agitated because I was way to close for his comfort.
