Basking Temp

i got types a zoo med 100w basking spot lamp, and a general 100w house hold bulb. I get 85 with the house bulb, and high 90's with the zoo med, basking spot is 8" from the lamp. would a 60w zoo med be better? thanks for the reply

Hopefully i a couple of weeks, want to make sure i am redy for it and make sure the temps are good

I use a 60 watt incandescent bulb for basking and readings are low to mid 90's. It depends on a few factors, but can vary in each enclosure. It is close to the basking area, but not touching the screen. (don't want to burn him accidentally) Make sure there are areas for your cham to escape to if he gets too warm! ;)
