Should it b in the 90s or lower always had it in the 90s but jus read it shud b lower. He has plenty of places to go to cool down lower down and other side of the viv at the same height.

For a baby I would say around 84. Even though there are plenty cooler places in the viv he probably won't move if he is too hot.

Veiled Chameleons - General Care

Temperature:
Baby/juvenile (<9 months): ambient 72-80F (22-26C), basking 85F (29C)
Adult males: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 90-95F (32-35C)
Adult females: ambient 75-80F (23-26C), basking 85F (29C)

Ambient temperature refers to the temperature near the bottom of the cage and basking temperature refers to the hottest point accessible to your chameleon. Basking is where a chameleon absorbs heat from an external overhead source to help regulate their body temperature; it also promotes proper digestion and a healthy metabolism. Nighttime temperatures can safely drop down to 50F (10C) so a night heat source should not be used unless temperatures are lower than this. If night heat is needed a ceramic heat emitter or space heater should be used, not a light bulb, even red or black bulbs.

He is quite active jus watched him climb rite dwn to 1 of the pot witch the plant is in to eat a waxworn then climbed bk upto his spot.
Shud I still lower it even if he moving do u think

Thats ok for ambiant. I keep my babies around 84.

On the info on the care sheet that guy told me to look at it says there to have basking spot at 75f tha seems abit low.

I have just read that care sheet and can't see anything about basking spot temps it tell u wat type of bulb and things like that.
He is doing great so think will leave his basking spot in the 80s till he's abit older
