basking light

so im pretty new on here and also to chameleons and i was wondering if i should leave my red colored basking buld turned on during the night time. i have 2 jacksons. 1 male and 1 female.

Temps for Jacksons can be as low as 60s at night. So don't leave it on at night as it is not needed. My Jacksons Chameleon does fine at night without any heat. :)
 
okay thank you. i have another question though. i keep them in a basement where it is not heated and i live in colorado so some nights it might be below 60 so should i still keep it off. they have multiple places to get out of the heat if need be.
 
They should be fine, maybe a more experienced member could chime in. But 50s should be OK too, maybe consider measuring the actual temperature of the garage to see if it is below 60....
