Hi I have many Panther chameleons. Looking for other suggestions that people use for theirs for their heat lamps. Thank you very much

I've been using the halogens just because he seemed to have a better color. I only use the 25 watts ones . Right now ambient temperature is at 80 in my basement but the winter drops more. I have one of those climate controls I was thinking to hook up for the winter with a heater do you think that would work. Thank you very much for your advice

Well, I use a 75 watt but if it is 80 now that is good!! The bad part is that you need a hotter one for winter. Just keep mind of the seasons and you'll be fine;)

I can point you to an incandescent bulb that is inexpensive and reptiles love for basking, but they will cost you $8 each, every 3 to 4 months.
Why not use a full spectrum household bulb or basking bulb, such as those by zoomed. Look for things labeled daylight, between 5000k and 6500k.
