Basic Training?

Hey guys, its been a while since I've been on here. I've had a lot going on. Anyways, I decided to join the Navy. I'm not sure when I ship out to boot camp, but when I do, what should I do about my little friends? I have a juvenile veiled chameleon and a juvenile bearded dragon. Boot camp is eight weeks long..
Any ideas??

Any family who can watch them>
or there might be some cham owners from here in your area that could watch them,

Reptile boarding? Although 8 weeks would be rather pricey.
When I have to go away, i just ask one of my friend to look after mine. He would pretty much move in my flat. I'd leave loads of food and beer for him along with precise instructions. Worked well so far

I'm in the navy now & just got my first Cham. I had a dog, sugar glider and scorpion before I left for boot camp. My mom has my dog until I get a place off base, my friend wanted my scorpion so I let him have him, & sadly I had no one who could give the proper care for a sugar glider so I had to give her up to a family that raised them. I hate to tell you but u will need to find someone willing to watch them for at least a year. Boot camp is only 8-9 weeks but the day after u graduate u will be sent to "A" school for your job training & u won't be aloud to have pets there. Mine was only 3 months & is one of the shorter schools, most were around 5-6 months. then some rates have to go to a "C" school for additional training (mine was 2 months) so u might not be able to get ur little guy back for a year or so. Once u get to ur first command u might be able to get them back but if u to to a sea duty then u will be going to sea about 6 months or more out of the year. I'm able to keep mine because I am at a shore duty, we don't ever deploy but once I go to a sea command next year I will have to plan accordingly. Btw what rate are you?
