And I really appreciate it I wouldn't want to be stressing him out and I'm really trying to get everything perfect for him it's just a little more difficult right now than it was when I got him is there a temporary fix for now I can't get him his new cage yet and I don't want him to not eat

No real temporary fix for a cage size. You could try building him one if you're mechanicly inclined. Free ranging is another option. But you gotta have the right stuff for that as well.
