Banded Crickets

I love to use banded crickets..
This kind of crickets are found where I live.. In Sonora Mexico.
I found them all year long. every summer I get a whole bunch, and breed them.. and use the offspring.
They are way more soft than the regular cricket. I guess they are much easier to digest :)

I thought armstong had the black crickets? I really dont want those.

Mulberryfarms is no longer selling banded crickets because they caught the cricket virus according to the website.

Reptilefood sells the brown crickets.

No. Armstrong's Cricket Farms is one of very few places that escaped the deadly virus.
They still sell only the original brown crickets, Acheta domestica.

Oh good. Now At least I don't have to buy those darn black crickets! Those things are crazy.

Edit: Ugh. Okay, the shipping for armstrong wouldn't be so bad if the cricket prices were lower. It's especially bad since I have to buy different sizes, so I don't get any kind of bulk/price discount even though I am ordering a lot.
