Banded crickets vs house crickets

Hey I was looking to breed my own crickets to make this expensive hobby a little cheaper and was wondering what's the better type if cricket to breed?? Banded or house crickets. Also witch withstand the cold better??
Thanks

I don't know anything about the cold but IMO band ends are much better cause they do not bite nearly as much as house crickets

The Bandeds seem to not die off as easy as the house crickets.

They jump further too.

I like the banded crickets a lot more. I have yet to notice any bad smell from the colonies and they seem healthier and more active. The bad thing is that they jump about three times farther so they can jump out of the feeding cups, and if they get loose they are hard to catch.

You won't want to have either of them in cool temperature. They just won't breed.

Id do both. The domestic house cricket hangs out at the bottom of the cage, and is double the weight, while the banded will hang out at the top of the cage, and only the finest aimers will be able to hit them every time.
