Yes. But it goes bad QUICKLY and mold is an issue, which is why I only use it for the roaches, who devour it within hours.
Apples seem to be hit or miss - lately romaine lettuce is going unnoticed. One thing I know they always go for is the dead leaves from the yard, but those carry the risk of pesticides/vectors of disease if you're not careful.
