Hello,
i don´t think bamboo is a good plant for Chameleons.
The surface of the branches is very slippery so the Chameleon doesn´t have proper grip.

I can see that issue lol, not even if I wrap with vines? The bamboo shoots are quite thin btw he can almost wrap his hand around it completely that's why I considered it.

I use lots of bamboo. Not live though. I pick it through out the year. Its harvested early so its not really thick and easy for larger chameleons to grip. The thicker pieces end up in gecko cages usually. You have to use the proper diameter and it works out pretty good addition for climbing avenues. I have no experience growing bamboo inside the cages, seemed unnecessary.

I'd love to use bamboo branches. My house in Spain has bamboo growing in the corner of the yard but I can't have it shipped or anything (I would think, I actually haven't even tried, but it sounds like it might be complicated.) I wish I had access to it here. But if I could I'd also use the branches.

I don't know if it would grow indoor though either, but it's unstoppable.
