Bamboo?

I took my chameleon (female veiled, 6 mos. old) out for some sun today and let her roam around the bamboo we have growing out there and it seemed to work really well for her. Can you think of any negative effects of cutting a few shoots from the bamboo out there and putting it in her cage? Nobody sprays pesticides around where we are, my county is filled with hippies.

As long as it isn't lucky bamboo which I doubt it is it is fine. Actual bamboo is nontoxic.

Thanks! Nope, not lucky bamboo. They're just the height of her enclosure, so they're kinda perfect for her, but I figured I would ask just to be sure.
