Bagheera Shedding

Bagheera is finally starting his first shed while in my care! I am very excited to see his colors turn out, I am beginning to see many reds around his eyes, throat, and tail. And I can FINALLY handle him without worrying about losing my thumb Such an attitude, and so much fun!

Done shedding tonight, and his new colors are looking so great!

wow!! looks great. mine just broke out a tiny piece of skin on his head as he is starting to shed as well. how long did the overall process take for yours? like from the day when he looks a bit pale to finish?

Probably took about 3 days total. This Saturday and Sunday, he looked so pale and sickly almost. Poor guy pouted all weekend! Turned on the lights this-morning at 7am, and he was just starting to break through the skin on his back (as seen in the pictures above). I got home at noon, and it was like he exploded! He had completely shed in those short 5 hours!! Each of mine has a different time that they go through. Cami is grumpy for about a week before, and Sol is grumpy for a day or two. Bagheera was just moody acting for 3ish days, then exploded

interesting. however mine looked like he was gonna shed for over two weeks. and only the head part. and even now only the head looks pale-ish and started to break off and the rest of the body looks...normal.

I know, I can not believe how quickly he went through his shed. I am used to Cami and Sol taking awhile to shed each part of their body... Bagheera exploded! He is going to be a beautiful little guy, Jann, I am glad you are following him along Lance has been great about keeping in touch, and we are sharing photos of Bagheera and the brother that Lance kept. They are going to both be stunning!
