just got my shipment from mulberry farms today. i ordered a pod of hornworms, they substituted all but three for silkworms. i am a little peeved seeing how i just ordered 100 silkworms 1 week ago. i didnt need silkworms i wanted hornworms to give my veiled after his 10 days of reptaid. they sent a note saying they hope im not inconveineced. what did they think i would be happy. that is like buying a jaguar, and getting a ford.

Did you call Brian and say that this is not what you wanted? I am sure he will make it right for you if you are not happy.

As far a better place... You can try Coastal and Georgia Bugs... But Mulberry has a great reputiation for providing the community with Silkies.
 
I would also just give them a call. They always call me if they end up not having something that was on the site still. They have givin me 7 bucks back on a shipment because shipping it didnt cost as much as they charged me. 7$! I wouldnt have even known about it or even missed it. Im sure they will work something out with you.
 
i emailed. i will call brian. Thanks p.s. im not bashing them, i have bought from them in the past. i might again, this is this first issue. i am just bummed out.
 
Get your money back.
I would never happily accept receiving and paying for something i did not order.

I have received a substitute in a shipment (from a completely different company) before, but with a note explaining that what I originally wanted was back-ordered, that they would send what I wanted along as soon as it came in or give me a credit, and the substitute was simply a gift for the inconvenience. perhaps that is the case here.

PS Im pretty sure the site rules say no bashing of or airing of disputes with companies.
