Has anybody ever ordered from precision reptile labs, if not don't start now. I thought I would get my first panther chameleon from them, because of there unbeatable prices. I called in and they said they had an eight day live arrival guarantee, so everything appeared to be great.
The chameleon arrived in two days, and wasn't in the best of shape. The next day I found him lifeless on the floor of the enclosure. Every time I tried to notify the guy at prl he would give me some excuse like, I am not at the office right now or I was just about to call you in two hours.
By this time I have excepted that I am probably not going to get my money back. This is where my mother stepped in. She called to talk to the guy, and he says that I have been sending him angry messages with profanity and racial slurs.WTF,the only message I have sent him was to ask if my cham was shipped yet. He also said he would forward the messages to my mother, we have seen no such messages at this time. He told my mother that since she called he would send us another chameleon on thursday. YEA I BET.
I cannot believe that prl handles there business in such an immature way.I have often heard people say how important it is to buy your chameleons from a reputable breeder. I was looking for a good deal, so I overlooked this bit of advise. Next time, in the far future when I can actually afford it, I will be buying from screameleons.
I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. If so please tell me about it.
