baby vieled questions, please help

I don't like ordering online so I went crazy going to stored and found a zoo med 5.0 compact bulb they don't carry the tubes so I got the compact. Please tell me this bulb will work.

I would never use a compact. I had my first chameleon go almost blind with one. Poor thing couldn't shoot and I had to cup feed him and he had to root around in the cup trying to get the crickets. The point was made in previous discussions to get the liner tubes, or didn't you see that?

Don't use the compacts, use linears.....

I seen that all the other brands make crappy harmful lights but doomed has the proper wavelength. And the tubes are the best therefore loomed compacts should work. Thanks for the heads up

Go ahead and use the Zilla and make sure you do calcium D3 twice a month, but keep in your mind that the coil IMO should be back up and start trying to save, it will get you by but I know exactly that is where I upgraded. Zilla Coil to ZooMed Reptisun 5.0 made my cage from a dungeon to a ballroom, meaning the tube covers more area, while basking on the other end and the coil wont reach that far and my cage was not overly big. 32 x 28 x 18. The reptisun 5.0 illuminates the whole cage, not just straight down. Use the coil but upgrade soon. I got a reptisun 5.0bulb. For $20 at local rep store and a fixture at hom depot for $10 just have to turn it upside down. Although just my opinion, your choice.
