baby veileds

well the eggs just started to hatch i have them in a old fish tank is this ok ? i have a screen cage but the friut flys get right out. help please

Congrats on the babies! Here's how I keep baby veileds. I cut out the top and hot gules in screen for ventilation for when I am feeding FF. My babies didn't eat FF for very long. They were eating pin head crickets along with the FF shortly after hatch.
