Baby Veiled took a Fall to the floor!

She is only about 3 months or so... I was cleaning her enclosure so took her out and put her in front of the window in the sun on the side of a small bucket. She walked off my hand and onto the bucket too quickly and slipped and fell to the floor. It was a 2 foot drop, I could hear her hit the floor (no carpet). She instantly got up and walked right back onto my hand. Didn't seem dazed or anything. Put her back up and got her to drink about 1ml of water from a syringe. After a few seconds she went dark phase, flattened her neck and started basking in the sun in the window as usual. She is now back in her enclosure and she is acting fine but is there any signs I need to watch for after a fall? Thanks guys.

Chances are really good that your new baby is just fine. Chameleons fall from branches in the wild for a number or reasons. She may have decided to fall ti get away - silly cham. But they know how to fall and how to inflate their bodies to not get hurt. Just watch her and if you see anything strange check in with us.
