For crickets i use

as well some of our site sponsors, such as mulberry farms and LLL reptile.

you can use petsmart crickets, just gutload them really well for 48 hours before feeding them off.

and dont use that gel they sell with them. its crap.

how can you tell its a uvb? I don't know about gutloading bugs? by jel stuff do you mean the stuff that kind of looks like marmalade? it's called flukers cricket quencher.

I would've taken a picture of him as well but hes hiding right now

Its a tube, Ive never seen a basking bulb tube style.. so I figured it was the UVB bulb. :)

I zoo med repti calcium powder, it has d3 in it. i put the crickets in a bag with it and shake before feeding him

OK..

so for that.. too much d3 is bad,

you need a plain calcium with no d3 for every feeding
a calcium with d3 for twice amonth feedings
and a multivitamin for twice a month feedings,

and heres a link to sandra's blogs, read through them (thers alot) and pick out good ingredients for gutloading.

thanks! i'll probably go buy some of that today when i get more crickets from petsmart. now...what to keep the crickets in lol my container for htem is so small.
 
also what can id o about my humidity? it's so hard to control....it only stays at 50-60% for a couple seconds after spraying then goes back down to 20%.
