Hello i recently got a baby veiled cham hes doing good only problem is i havent seen him eat . I tried putting him on top of a bowl with the crickets inside and he wont eat them.. Any suggestion on how to feed a 2 month old veiled cham ?

Sometimes it takes them a day or two to settle in before they will eat. You should also try just free ranging the crickets in his cage. If he came from a breeder they probably didn't take the time to train them to hand feed or eat from a cup. Also as mentioned above if the feeders are to large they want eat them.

Ive had him since yesterday... Ibought him from fl chams.... Im feeding him crickets there about 1/2" . Should i try holding the cricket and putting it infront of him?

At 2 months a 1/2 might be to big for him unless he's a big 2 months. I don't recommend trying to hand feed at this point. First you want to get him settled into his home by leaving him alone and when you do try to feed just drop a few smaller crickets in to free roam and allow him to hunt them on his own when you are not looking. Allot of the time they are shy at first. Uneaten crickets should be removed from the enclosure at night so they don't eat on your baby while he sleeps. As I said earlier often it take them a couple day to settle in before they start to eat.

I just got my 2 month old from FLChams too! We've been feeding him 1/4 inch crickets and find that letting a few roam around the cage as well as leaving some in a bowl helps. We've seen him eat quite a few crickets that have come close to him.

My guy is pretty skittish still and backs away when he sees our hands in his cage, so we don't try to hand feed him.

You may not be able to handle your Cham or hand feed him depending on his personality. Best to not touch him and let him settle then try and get him use to you around his cage. Sometimes wearing certain colors is a sign of aggression to chams. Like black or grey shirts make my Cham get upset. Green and blue she turns bright and happy colors.
I still haven't held my Cham much and I've had her since January. Hope this helps.

Same things happens to me i put my hand near him and he just backs away so im letting him hangout in his cage for a couple days.

I want to see him and make sure he's okay but he's already found a great hiding spot that he already runs to when I get near him. I did notice today if I slowly go near his cage and don't look at him or if I sit with my back to him, he doesn't hide as much. Also today when he realized I had his crickets in the bowl he didn't run away as fast.

I'm sure your's will come around in the next few days.
