Hi everyone. I'll be getting a veiled chameleon soon and I will most likely be starting with a baby around 3 months old. I do have an extra large reptibreeze that I plan on using, but I have seen several people recommend not starting them out in such a large enclosure. I was suggested even going for a 5 gallon bucket to start with. What are the drawbacks of starting them out in their permanent enclosure?

You don't need to worry about starting him in his adult cage. Many people say that they will have "trouble finding their food", but it won't make a difference. Happy Chameleon Keeping!!!
