It looks to me like that enclosure is too large for him for the time being. He seems like he can't be over 2 months old and at this point should be housed in something much smaller. If you do have something smaller, I would suggest putting him in that for now. If not, be sure to hand feed him as it will be hard for him to hunt in such a large enclosure. I'm not sure if you have considered these things already, and sorry for the repeats if you have. Other than the size in relation to the cham, your setup looks superb and he should be extremely content with it, when he grows up that is. And welcome to the forums btw. It's very impressive that you were able to come up with that great of a setup withought our help. It's obvious that you did your research. If I may ask, where did you find such a reliable source?

Great home!
What do you mean he's been sleeping all the time?

They shouldn't sleep during the day.

pictured i have a green cup in the cage near the top that i have his food in. i have watched him go down and eat several times and by sleeping i mean just chilling in his basking spot. he goes down and eats a cricket then goes back up to his spot to chill in the heat. then just repeats this process. and yes i did do research prior to making his setup mostly off this forum. found a lot of helpful stuff. also watched a lot of youtube videos on other people setups.

Also what is the purpose of the light at the very bottom of his cage that only points toward the bottom of the cage?

bottom of the cage was getting pretty wet so i was drying it up a bit. still have the whole mid section of cage at 71 and his top spot is at about 83

no just a regular bulb at the top for heat in his basking spot

I would recommend putting all lights at the top of his cage. I've never seen anybody out their lights on the side of the cage like that before... Other than that the cage looks nicely set up. Good job!
