I am super excited because my silkworm eggs hatched. They are so tiny. I hope I can keep them alive. I have read the blog on raising silkworms several times and the info on coastal silkworms website several times. Keeping my fingers crossed. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1380431152.495192.jpg

What are you feeding them? Keep everything super clean. I move mine with cocktail sticks and a fine paint brush. Good luck.:)

I am feeding them silkworm chow from coastal silkworms. I will be moving them into their home tomorrow. I will be sure to keep everything super clean. Thanks for the tips.

For some sad reason I find it very therapeutic counting them when I am changing their boxes. Someone always interrupts and I loose count.:confused:

Well, I just found that it is a pain in the butt to get the worms out of the petre dish because of the glue. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I didn't kill a bunch of them. My next order I will get a lot so they won't be glued down.

How in the heck do you keep the tiny boogers in the container. I picked up the silkworm kit from coastal silkworms and they are crawling out. They sure like the food. I'm just glad they are still alive :D
