baby quad spanning chasm

This little girl quad was busy spanning a chasm between a manzanita branch and slender green leaf, when she stopped and just hung in that position for about 10-15 minutes. Maybe the position stretched her tail and lower back in a soothing manner--I don't know--but she rested in that odd position for a long time. I even held a 1/4" cricket in front of her. She zapped it, chewed it, and swallowed it, all while hanging in this awkward position.

Lol. Hammock effect? That's funny. I know, my little one(s) always seem to try to crawl on the skinniest little plant vine, or floppiest leaves & stuff, and they always seem to freezeI get all panicky, like wow, did you just figure out that was a bad idea? should I save you & move you? Should I let you teach yourself not to climb on stupid things by stranding you like that?? Meanwhile, they're probably just like, leave me alone, I was having fun til you got that crazy look in your eye! Lol.

Baby quads just get better every day. Watching them grow is a lot like watching paint dry, cause the grow so slowwwww. But they don't come any cuter than the stuff quads find to do.:D
