Baby Pygmy Question

I have read that the babies can go in with the adults when they are big enough but I am reluctant to try it without asking fellow pygmy owners their opinion. I have a trio of adults in a separate vivarium and one baby that is 4 months old (think it's male)and the rest are 2½ months old and are in a separate nano vivarium. I want to put a few of them in there to grow them on a bit before selling but please would anyone who has tried this let me know what happened.

Its hard to say If the baby is small enough to be mistaken for food I wouldnt chance it. Also if it is a male there is a chance that your adult male may see him as a threat.

I tried to put one of my juvenile males, about 3 months old, in with the parents to give him more space. The adult male absolutely would not tolerate it. He chased the baby (his son) and tried to attack him. I removed him promptly. If they're too small the parents could try to eat them (saw it happen with a hatchling before I could get it out of the viv where it hatched). If they're old enough to mate you risk incest. They seem to be old enough by about 4 months of age. And the adults may try to attack the youngster.

Thank you both. They are too big for food but the other issues are of concern so I won't risk it. I just wanted to see if anyone had tried it as although I read it was ok I had my doubts.
