Fish only, no coral. The fish we want will attack the corals and destroy them. Ill upload ics of our tank later in a diff thread.
Im sorry to hear about your nitrates
We are having another hairy algae outbreak. We have isoltaed the stupid rock many many times and came out clean but it hides deep within and is choking our polyps! UGH!
What do you mean Kids? Yes, we have them but no one pays attention. The fish are in the dining room so we only watch them when we eat. dogs wont go int here because its hardwood flooring.
Chromis and Damsel both VANISHED within 3 days. We assumed it was the emerald crabs getting them and the rest of the cleanup crew doing away. We rid of the emeralds. The goby we had for less than 8 hours before we found it on the floor. OUr tank doesnt allow us to put a hood on due to the lights on their stands. The tang we had for a day before it was found with its eyes gouged out and the coral banded eating away at it.
The firefish I found with its tail chopped off and a giant snail cleaning up the rest within 4 days of buying it.. and the sea star we had for about 3 months when all of sudden we noticed random tentacles (still moving I might add) around the tank, I found the body of it completely deflated. We still havent found the larger sea star in about 2 weeks. SO yea, a run of bad luck..and hubby wonders why i dont wanna spend any more on fish!
