He is kind of a nervous wreck. I dont handle, (not that he'd let me anyway), he wont eat in front of me let alone my hand, he puffs up whenever my had goes in there, and runs away. Help? Yesterday I didn't feed him and today i tried to hand feed him, no interest whatsoever. Should I try again later in the day? Or tomorrow? I'm worried about not feeding him, but when i first got him, he didnt eat for about a week and did fine. Thanks, Zach.
P.S. Don't worry, he is totally a healthy chameleon, not stressed, developing nicely, although hasnt shed since i got him on July 13. Thanks.

I don't recommend not feeding a chameleon to attempt to hand feed. They are young and developing and it will take time to develop trust with them. Nothing is going to change overnight.

I would feed him everyday and I would still try to hand feed. You can try using different feeders to hand feed with or try using tongs to hold the food and then go to just your hand but I wouldn't not feed him to force him to eat from your hand.
