Baby Jacksons chameleon is he eating enough?

Things still aren't going well for him, I got home from work and he was sprawled on the bottom of his enclosure and his eyes were sagging, he looks very weak. . I've tried my best to get him to eat but the crickets just pass right in front of him and he doesn't seem interested at all. His colors are also blotchy and not the normal patterns like they once we're. I'm really hoping for the best. I don't have the money to get him proper veterinary treatment so I guess the only thing I can do is to keep trying my best to get him to eat.

If you don't have a uv bulb get one asap! Since you live in FL take him outside, so he can get his uv requirements from the sun in the mean time. Also, he needs WAY more branches in his enclosure...

Well not to sound rud. But why did you get a chameleon (specially a Jackson) if you are not even prepare to take care of him !!. Is obvious that you have not red anything about his husbandry. But well you already have it...

First of all is, you are not experience so is gonna be difficult to raise him in a glass enclosure, the best thing is that you get a screen enclosure (they need a lot of ventilation), the enclosure has to have a lot of foliage and sticks so he can hide and climb as pleased. He need two types of bulb, the heat bulb (can varied from 40 to 100 W) and the uvb bulb (5.0 zoomed reptisun is a good example). You have to take out the bowl with water since it can easily get contaminated. You should mist him a lot so he can drink and to maintain humidity. I do not know about the temperature and humidity levels for jackson but you can look them up on the caresheets provided before. Suplementation is really important too! is not enough with crickets only. You need calcium w/o d3, calcium w/ d3, and multivitamins (see caresheet specifically for jacksons).
These are the basic stuff you have to know!

I hope that you realize everything goes well for you and your new family member.

I thought I could take care of him easily, my buddy has a veiled that I helped nuture and he had no problems at all, but now I realize how diverse the different species are. I'm sorry to say he has past. I tried my best to keep him alive but I'm pretty sure he had a mouth infection and I wasn't ready for it. I've learned a lot from the help of everyone and the next buddy I get i will make sure I'm ready and have all the proper needs, thanks everyone.
