Well its been flawless weather out side the past few weeks for having chams outside. I have kept babys outside alot of the time, and they are doing awesome. They do grow considerably faster, but not as large as some others claim so idk if I am doing something wrong, or people are saying their animals are younger than they are
. Anyways, baby chameleons are eating and pooping machines, and their cages need cleaned a couple times a week, with spot cleaning daily if possible. Anyone who has had baby's, knows how their tiny little poops will hide among the leaves of a plant very easily. I normally just take out the babys toss them in an empty cage or two, and spray the plants with a hose while I rub down all the leaves. Just thought I'd take a couple snaps of babys so you can see the size variation among the ages. This particular clutch is a clutch of ambilobes, 25 babys strong, with the oldest being 7 weeks, and the youngest being 2 weeks old. This was a 100% hatch rate, incubated on Hatchrite media, seeing temperatures between 68-75degrees F.
