The first clutch that one of my female blue bar ambilobes laid on July 2nd started hatching on Saturday. Right now there has been 7 that have hatched out and are doing great so far. I have seen them drink and eat already. There is still quite a few that still have to hatch and I can't wait to see what they will look like. I used the closet method with hatchrite and the temp was 70-75 the entire time, and it took 7 months. The sire is from the Brendan line at Screameleons and the dam is from the Theron line at Screameleons. They should make some colorful panthers when they get older. I was wondering what most ppl's dusting schedule is for neonate's, I just want to double check and make sure I get it right. Thanks :)

Parents

If you want to see the parents of the babies you can either go to my profile and to my pic album or the threads Violet- Female Ambilobe or Marty- Male Ambilobe.

Congratulations! They are so precious and tiny!! You will have to post pictures so we can watch them grow out~

Thanks guys. What is the best supplementing schedule for neonate's? I just want to double check and make sure I get it right.

Thanks Jack, that helps a ton. I will b sure to keep everyone updated on the growth on the babies and when others hatch out.

I just melted. They are sooooo tiny. How many more have to hatch?

There is 15 more that have to hatch still from her first clutch she laid from her one mating. But then still another 20 that I'm expecting to hatch in about a month or two from her second clutch she laid from that same mating.

Got Another!

Another one started hatching today! That will make 8, and the first 7 are doing great :) here is a pic of the new addition making its way out of the egg.
