no problem...and why did u take your caps off? dont be discouraged lol if u are a first timer with a chameleon i recomend that u get a male due to them not laying eggs..if u get a girl you will be in for a suprise..just a thought

Everyone will suggest you get a male because they have more color to them and you will not have to deal with putting a laying bin in the enclosure so the females can lay eggs. Even if you are not breeding the females can lay infertile clutches. With females you also have to limit the amount of food you give them to. For a first cham definitely get a male

Can't really go wrong with either of them.

Have you started reading the care & husbandry guides yet? Have you purchased any equipment? It is extremely important to buy equipment and get your set-up perfect; i.e. cage size, vines, live plants, misting, temps, humidity, etc. before you actually bring a chameleon into your enclosure. 1) You don't want your Chameleon to suffer incorrect husbandry as you prepare, 2) you can stress your chameleon out while making this cage adjustments.

Good luck, and when you get him/her (him suggested of course) take pics and be sure to fill out the how to ask for care guide, with or without a problem. You will always get good advice and tips for improvement.
