Problem:
So I've randomly spotted my baby veiled chameleon with her eyes closed during the day, not sure if she's sleeping or just relaxing but is this normal behaviour? I'm bit worried. Also sometimes she sneezes, maybe couple times a day. Could this be a respiratory problem in early stages?
Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Female Veiled, around 3-4 months old. Been with me for 3 months.
Handling - About once a week for cleaning purposes.
Feeding - She's on Crickets/Dubias. 2-3 medium sizes a day, loaded with zilla Cricket food/fish food/calcium cricket quencher.
Supplements - Rep Cal p-free Calcium 4-5 days a week, Rep Cal Calcium D3 twice month, Reptivite Multi twice month.
Watering - Self made Dripper on twice a day and misting twice a day. Not often (she doesn't like to if i'm watching)
Fecal Description - She goes about twice a week quite large droppings. White urate with small orange tinge.
Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? - No.
History - Nope.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - ReptiBreeze open air 16x 16x 20 (small)
Lighting - ReptiSun 5.0 UVB fluorescent light fixture. On around 12 hours. 6.30 am to 6.30pm. (sometimes bit later, not automatic)
Temperature - 60 Watt Bulb with clamp lamp. Around 84 - 86 F under basking spot, 80 F normal. Lowest overnight temp about 70-75 F
Humidity - 40 to 60. A humidity gauge. I mist often.
Plants - Just one tropical plant, not sure what kind (but safe for reptiles)
