baby chameleon closed both eyes please help!!!

And at what place and height is the enclosure standing? Is he at eye height with you or higher? Or low to the floor?
Like in the living room there’s a lot of movement in the room, which can stress them and which they need to get used to. For now you’re all a threat to him

Just put in the feeders and leave it there. Observe from a distance and he’ll eat it somewhere during the day. Give him time to settle in. All is new for him and especially so young they’re more stress sensitive.

hes in my room on the floor but he sits quite high on his plant, im almost never in my room only when feeding him and going to sleep, but if i put his feed in his enclosure i sit on the floor to make sure im lower than him

You said you have a monstera plant in the cage…monstera plants can cause eye irritation in some animals…don’t know if it’s part of the problem or not…but just thought it was worth mentioning. Does your chameleon rub its eyes on the leaves?

Small advice put on the enclosure on a stand or table. The higher, best above your eye level, the better. They normale live in trees high above the ground, that gives them a natural safe feeling. Being so low to the floor stresses him.

Lots of questions, but one thing I can say, you started of really great, my compliments for that. We’re just trying to tweak things out of experience. Unfortunately you’re dealing with most difficult case, eyes 😅

You’re doing great and will settle in perfectly 👌🏻

Chameleons are not known to be the easiest animals to care for. You’re starting with a baby, which makes it even harder. You’re in the right place for help, support and learning, making improvements and doing your best for your little one. Each day and little by little, he should be showing some improvement. It is just going to take a little time. :)
