My one month old nosy be panther chameleon was at the bottom of the cage when I checked on him, I sprayed him some more and gave him a couple of fruit flys even though he already ate a cricket. He stayed on the bottom pitch black for a minute then he started to climb up. Once he got in the light he regained his color, ate a couple of fruit flys, and even let me hold him. Does he change colors if he is in the dark or is there a problem with him? Thanks

I gonna let someone else answer your question. I'd like to comment on you holding your 1 month old Cham. I strongly recommend you don't hold him right now. At a month old they think everything in the world is trying to kill them. You really don't want him to see you and fear you. They need to get used to you first buy seeing that you feed him, take care of him,ect and that you are no threat. I like to hold off on holding till about 3/4 months and I limit it then.
