Baby Calumma globifer

I’ve been working with Globifer for almost 10 years now and recently hatched babies from my 3rd and 4th viable clutches.

This species had been the most challenging species I’ve worked with and I’m still trying to dial in their care.

Here’s one of my current babies. I have 20 babies currently from 2 clutches with a handful of eggs to go.

This species likes cooler temperatures and I find they do well outdoors year round here in coastal Southern California. My oldest male is nearing 10 years old and lives outdoors year round without issue.

You said…”This species likes cooler temperatures”…I found they liked cooler temperatures too. Mine never reached 10 years with me, but they were all WC adults when I got them and came in with some health issues too. Things weren’t good back then, for many of the chameleons that came into Ontario because they were all WC and in bad condition sadly.
