Baby cage upgrade opinions please

Hello fellow chammers!
My 6 ambilobes are a couple days shy of a month old today. I have them all in the same 30Qt plastic tub. The pics were taken yesterday. They are all roughly the same size. 1 is slightly smaller than the other 5 but otherwise healthy, eating drinking etc. I was thinking of setting them up in a screen cage I have from when I received my first chams. Cage is 16"x16"x24. What do you think about putting them all in a cage this size with a real plant and several twigs and branches to climb on? Too soon for small chams? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. They are starting to look a little cramped but it might just be me. Thanks!

I would not make the switch. I think you need to wait at least 1-2 months. Instead of switching the cage maybe re-decorate and improve the cage you are using now. When I make the switch to a bigger cage (from the baby bin) I put them in separate enclosures. Post some pics of your current set-up and I can give you a few ideas if you would like.

It looks ok but I'm sure you can think of a few ways to make it look nice! I like to use dowel rods and some fishing line. Real sticks and vines always look great too. They will love all the new stuff and you will have something nice to look at.

I agree with Dustin:)

bigger bin, live plant

I built a new network of small branches and put in a live plant. The babies seem to really like it!

I say go for it.
I keep about 5-10 babies (right from hatching day one) in a 12x12x18" and they move up to 18x18x24 or fewer in the 12x12x18" as they grow, until eventually at about 3 months they are all individually housed.

Thanks Sandra. Since they are in the bigger bin, I may wait a couple weeks then setup the screen cage.
