Here's a pic of a baby hatching today!

I'm sure it's good enough to get certain details from the start.
Judging from their ability to see lines forms and such to climb upon.
Surely by day 2 they're very good at nailing small fruit flies.

Nice pic and nice baby!! :)

I was just wondering how everybody takes pics of their chams and other creatures. I have a digital camera but the flash is very bright. I'm always worried about blinding my little animal subjects ... especially some of the nocturnal herps that I have.

Does anybody just use some sort of lamp or spotlight to lighten the entire area so it's not so much of an abrupt flash?

Thanks ... Dyesub Dave. :D

I shot this with a Nikon D200 and a 105mm Nikon Macro lens with four wireless flashes mounted on the end of the lens. Thus the 4 spots of light in the eye. Thanks for the compliments. This is one of Phantom's baby's Poh.
