So I might be getting my little veiled female in February and came up with this ideal. I was thinking instead of wasting money on building 2 cages, why not just build one cage thats divided in and when she get older open it up.
Cage:
This cage will be 2ftx2ftx4ft divided in the middle at 2ftx2ftx2ft. The divide will be a hard plastic sheet that can easily be removed when she's ready to be upgraded. Their will be 2 doors for easy access to her. When she grows out of the top divide, the bottom will have laying bin access when needed, closed off when not needed. there will be hard plastic sheet at the bottom with a drain for excess water drainage.
The Stand:
The stand will have 2 shelves. A drainage shelf and a supply shelf. The laying been will have its own storage spot that can easily be removed.
Materials:
If you know me, you know that all my cages are made of wood. Well I'll be using petscreen for the 3 sides, alumnuim on top, hard plastic for bottom and middle divide. and petscreen on the doors.
This will make the 3rd project I have lined up for the following months! =)
