Soo payday is Friday and Im wondering what I should invest in for a fogger or a mister. Petsmart sells the monsoon system and the reptifogger, and I believe one other mister. Any recommendations or ideas? I just want something that will help me out if I do decide to go on a little weekend vacation somewhere. I don't at this moment have a drain in my enclosure but I do wipe my enclosure out daily.

aqua zamp or mistking are the better misters.

If you dont have a drain then no matter what mister you get it will be a pond by end of the day. You need to google drilling glass and go buy a glass drilling bit and drain that enclosure imo.

Foggers have their place but primary you would want a mister I would think.

This info is without knowing what you have cham or equipment wise. ;)

Oops forgot to say be careful of monsoon, but you might get a good one. Make sure you can have a refund if it doesn't do what you want.

Im unsure how much the humidity drops off from here to there(I doubt it drops much), but over here it is plenty humid, and no need for a fogger.

Id really only recommend a fogger if RH is severely low, like desert conditions.

If you are not home all day, every day to mist, you need a misting system.

Aquazamp and Mistking both have good systems, that are worth the money.

Like Wykd said, you can drill the glass to create a drain.

If you cant do that for some reason, or if you try to, and epic fail it :p you can just take a hammer to the bottom of the enclosure, and replace it with something more drillable. ;)
Like the PVC sheeting used in screened enclosures.

Monsoon looks better for sure. But it can be a bitch. I think their timers are inferior. I had quite a few problems with mine for some time but now it is working fine. But here in Hong Kong the weather is more cham friendly and forgiving than in some other parts of the world. If looks is not your main priority, get a mistking. If you want it neat monsoon is the way to go but you have to be prepared to get a very faulty one.

I was thinking of drilling the bottom anyways so I may take it to my local glass shop and get it drilled for like 10$. As far as a system I know the monsoon has a larger droplet mist and mistking had a more widespread fine mist. They're both around the same price I just would like one that is dependable and will do what I need it to.

Just want something that will mist every 3 hrs for about 15-30 seconds each time. That way if I'm at work and my wife forgets or were gone away for a day or two I won't have to worry about it.

i think the mistking is the way to go.
Its a finer mist, and i currently have mine set to mist every 2 hours for 30 seconds, and the bottom of my cages barely get wet.

and its so freaking quiet.

go with a mistking and here is why:

The gallons per hour from the mistking nozzle is .25, it does its job with out really overspraying. The aqua zamp nozzles are .9 gph, a big difference in the spray pattern/size. The monsoon I have no idea but i assume its a higher # than either based on the spray/pattern. A big pattern/spray is to much for smaller enclosures imo, a .9 gph nozzle does fine in a 2x2x4 but in small screen enclosures it will mist out of the screen more, etc...

Then there is the reliability and scalability factors. You can mist upto 10 2x2x4 enclosures with 1 mist king,. Not saying you will ever have 10 but if you decide to add more it can handle it easily.

If you have a nice sized main plant then very little will spray to the bottom and just accumulate, so its not just pouring water into the enclosure.
