I'm setting up my first mesh enclosure tomorrow. I've a few largeish logs. Ive drilled holes at each end to thread wire through. My idea is to suspend one from the ceiling for basking. The others are dowel rods to attach to the sides and entwine with vines for Figaro to climb up on.

Will the wire mesh, be able to withstand a small amout of weight?

Many thanks for any help you can give me on the above matter. Mark

I don't have first hand in doing this, but the screen doesn't seem too strong. It may be fine short term, but the long term strain is really what I would be worried about.

You want to tie them to the frame as much as humanly possible rather than the screen.

If you have the budget and time, I would HIGHLY recommend getting some Dragon Strand ledges which transfer the weight to the frame, not the screen. They're incredible and allow you do to do so much more in the enclosure.
