Athlete’s foot powder for eggs?

So I’ve had a fertile veiled chameleon egg for about 6 months and it started getting a small amount of mold on it.I ordered athletes foot powder that should be here this afternoon or tomorrow morning and I was wondering how much too put on the egg?

Where did you hear about using this? Typically they get mold when the vermilite is too wet or the egg dies off and molds over.

@salty dog can you provide any feedback for the OP?

Actually I added a bit less water this week and and today I checked and there was no mold!

eggs breathe, they absorb some of the surrounding moisture.... I would be surprised if your eggs survive. I leave my eggs alone, I do not candle them..etc.. when they hatch they hatch
