ate his fake plants!

My 12month old male panther decided it would be a good idea to eat about a dosen or so of the fake leaves in his cage! Hes still eating and drinking and he passed a few of them today but im still concerned! I was suprised how hard it was for him to pull them off of the plant as I tryed to take them off myself and had to pull on them vary hard! Any ideas as what I should do or why he would eat his leaves to begain with!?

put in live safe plants and remove them immediately!!! If he does not pass them all you are gonna have problems! Lets hope he does. you should have stopped him when you saw him doing it!

Agree - take out all fake plants and add a large non-toxic plant to his cage.

Remove fake plants, use real ones (of a type safe for him to eat).
Ensure he is getting enough water.
Ensure you are offering a variety of properly gutloaded prey, supplemented correctly, and in sufficient quantity.
