Ate a bee

Like it says, a medium sized bee flew in to his cage (1/2" x 1/2" hardware cloth) and he ate it::(
Should I worry? You would think the bee would use its stinger in his mouth:eek:

It looked like no problem by the way he chewed it.
He's a five month old ambilobe, panther.

They are rather good at eating flying insects safely, cause that is what they do when humans are not involved with the process. :D

Catch a bee. Place in ziplock. Place in fridge for 20 second intervals until passive. Remove stinger. Feed cham. You now have a new best friend. Especially if it is a jax.

Nice idea junglefries! Be careful though of pesticides on the bees. I know over a million bee hives were wiped out this spring in my area and they think it was from some of the pesticides used on the crops that they were pollinating. Bees travel from flower to flower all day long so the chances of pesticides exposure is extremely high. in my area at least..
