I am that DIY guy, with not really enough time to go out to the store I chose to use what i had, took an idea off these forums and...
Wanted a temporary dripper untill I went to my weekly home depot visit to make a proper valve dripper. It was a pain in the a$$ to get working and once I did, I checked the water and got :eek:shocked..Painful and lucky it wasnt strong currents.

My drippers are like IV bottles hanging from the ceiling.
They are large Gatorade bottles with a stopcock epoxyed in and some
clear tubing with a pippet tip at the drippy end :)

Low tech stuff.

Mine's worse, right now everyone has empty milk jugs sideways with needle holes poked on one side. Talk about ghetto! But I haven't set up the Mistking yet and I don't need to use anything fancier right now.

I dot know that don t sound low tech I'm in Maryland also where u get tippy? Stock cap?...

What do you do about water build up it must drip really slow, ill grab a milk jug anyday for my little girls

I get disposable transfer pippets from the lab I work in, but you can buy that kind of stuff from Amazon.
All my cages have a drip pan and drain tube going into a collection bucket.
I just have to empty the bucket when it gets full.

I buy washing machine pans from Amazon, or Dura trays made for rabbit cages, and drill a hole where I want the drain tube to go.

How were you shocked from the dripper?

Did you find the source of the current?

Even low voltages could negatively effect your chameleon.

If its coming from the lights, thats doubly bad. You dont want those exploding...

I got shocked from the water bin my air pump was in and yes it could have shocked my babies luckily it got me first
