"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.
At this moment, we have not yet confirmed the source of explosion sounds heard above Bone strait, South Sulawesi, that happened this afternoon. However, according to LAPAN's (Indonesian Organization equivalent to NASA) representative, the source was possibly came from an asteroid explosions. The huge explosions that shake the ground caused panic to the citizens of Latopo village at Bo-ne. Before, the villagers assumed the sounds came from an airplane crash. One eyewitness reported that the explosions happened 5 times accompanied by strong earthquake, fires, flashes of lights and heavy smokes.
The explosion and the earthquakes caused panic among children at the nearby school."
