has anyone had their chamelion's mouth injured from a cricket? don't think i can open his mouth to look. The back edge of it looks soar and he is not opening his eye on that side. I did get to look inside when he opened his mouth, looked very red. thought about trying to get povidone iodine to put on it and maybe some natural tears for his eye. might have to take to the vet monday. Any other suggestions?

he's sleeping now, don't want to stress him, will take a picture in the morning,
he is still eating, and i notice him sometimes rubbing that side of his face against the branch.

maybe this picture will help

took him to the vet today, they cleaned his mouth out and gave him a shot of antibiotics...will go back for 3 more shots, every three days...hopefully it will kill the infection and he will start eating again..if not the vet will give him liquid food.
