are this things safe?

Hi everyone!
Theres a field next to my house... Im almost 100% sure its free from pesticides and stuff...
Aaaand.. I found a lot of these guys:






Are they safe for my veiled?
Because if they are.. Im thinking about capturing many of them and breed them, and use some others as food..
I will obviously keep them for a week, just to make sure they are free from pesticides, and from all the stuff that they have inside.

soo... what do you think?

the locust looks like ones I use so I'd guess they are safe, but I'm no expert

Well, a general roll of thumb with feeders is nothing that is colorful which shows signs that it's toxic. Any hoppers that are black or red are lubbers just one could kill you Cham. But green hoppers are fine along with katydids as long as you keep them for a day to make sure they are gutloaded and safe. have fun hunting them!

Yes, you are right. The ones in the pictures are fine. Lubbers are not.
