Are theses grasshoppers ok to feed ???

Was out stick hunting n came across theses grasshoppers in a pesticide free area out of the city ??????

I have never heard of poisonous grasshoppers and some of those look like some I have fed with no problems in the past, but I would wait for a little more feedback I could be wrong.

When collecting wild insects, you must always be cognizant of pesticides and parasites.

Ok cool thanks guys there's no pesticides 4 sure where they came from so then it's the chance of paricites

Looks like the Differential grasshoppers. I feed them all the time. I remove the back legs before feeding them to my guys as they are powerful and can injure the inside of the mouth. I would suggest you do that for sure.

Yes they have some power lol and a little smarter then the average cricket I would open the lid to put one in and 2 would escape they were organized
