I acquired a pair of Veiled Chameleons from my mom and about a week ago I noticed she was full of eggs. Well last night she layed them, I put them in a Sterilite Bin in Perlite mixed with a half a cup of water.
Do these look fertilized? Any help would be appreciated.
Tough to say off of a picture but from the yellowish appearance I would say no. Good fertile eggs are white and firm. Do they feel soft?
***Dont toss them just keep them for a while and if they are bad you will know in about a week.
Yeah they're kind of firm, has the texture of a peeled egg? They do look yellowish but in the lizard/fish room they look whiter. Not sure, I'll keep them for a couple weeks to be sure. Thanks!
